Bluebird: a New Musical

In February of 2025, Ani produced a concert-style reading and performance of her new musical, Bluebird. A project nearly two years in the making, she embarked on the large undertaking of writing an entire show- script, lyrics, music, and arrangements- completely solo. A singer-songwriter musical about Yeva (played by Ani), a struggling songwriter, and Henry, a recluse English teacher-turned-bartender, and the the encounter that sparks a powerful, tumultuous , and ambiguous partnership. A story about what it means to acknowledge the failures in ourselves, the deep impact of our relationships, and the necessity of love and commitments between people, we explore it all through the raw, and very human, songwriting of Yeva and Henry.
